Purrington Civil is owned and operated by Chris Purrington, P.E. and Steven Homer, P.E. Chris and Steve met in 2001 at a mutual place of employment. They immediately hit it off as friends as they shared common interests in sports, skiing, and a similar sense of humor. Both left their positions for other opportunities, but they collaborated in 2012 to form Purrington Civil, LLC. In what was once a small engineering firm with one District client, Purrington Civil has grown into what it is today: A multi-dimensional civil engineering firm with multiple Special District and countless repeat clients. Chris and Steve share the same vision of clean and concise engineering plans while building long lasting client relationships.

Purrington Civil, LLC is a full-service Colorado civil engineering firm dedicated to providing cost-effective and practical solutions for Special Districts, as well as residential, commercial, and multi-use developments.

Christopher Purrington, P.E.

Principal

Chris has over 30 years of experience primarily related to water, wastewater and infrastructure projects including planning, design, construction coordination and operations, as well as special district representation. Chris is actively involved in the design and oversight of all projects as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm. Chris enjoys skiing, traveling, biking, live music, and spending time with his family.
